IBM iX: Digital Onboarding

The IBM iX Digital Onboarding is a document that helps new IBMers in the challenge of navigating through the large amount of information of a Big Blue boarding. Information ranging from where to find benefits information, tracking services, communications and more.

Challenges

The biggest challenge was getting all the pertinent information and sorting it by priority for beginners. At the same time that it was necessary to pass all the information, we needed to use a chronological order of need for each item.

Another challenge, initially, was to update information, since the document was generated in PDF.

Highlights

IBM's Design System, Carbon, was used as the basis for the document's visual identity. At the same time I was able to use elements of the iX identity. As a result, the prototyping work was directly high-fidelity.

My Role

In addition to designing all the steps and topics, I performed the information architecture to help classify the information, I used a quantitative survey with the most recently hired employees, to make sure that all the information was really relevant.
